The #1-844-662-8160 is not in any way linked with AmeriGroup. This information was verified upon getting a suspicious robo message from this number. Report it if you receive one similar to it. A similar message and the same number was used in a scam back in 2016. They were claiming to be AmeriGroup then also. Protect your private information. AmeriGroup keeps track of all phone calls made to you. I was told I hadn’t been called by them.

I received a call from a different number, but it was just a robo-message telling me to call this 844 number. The voice said my name and claimed they were my health insurance company needing important info and that if I called the 844 number within 48 hours they'd give me a free first aid kit. I googled the number, saw here that others got calls from this number that had nothing to do with my health insurance company and determined it was Fraud, so I didn't call the number.
